Hello everybody I am new to this board but not new to Cluster Headaches. I have been suffering with CH since 1993 and until recently had only a 1/2 dozen episodes. But i have had this episode since the beining of December 2004. I have been getting CH about 5-7 time per week. It has been rough both mentally and financially as my health care provider for a awhile refuse to purchase any more Imitrex for me. Bot thankfully I got that worked out and now it seems like this episode is is starting to fade away. I pry it is and for ever

Welcome wink and I'm sorry you're here. Hopefully this episode will end soon. Do not leave this board when it does. Look around here and at the OUCH site (link to the left) and gather info on treatments, meds, coping, etc. You will find lots of info and support. There are preventative meds that work and oxygen has been an effective abortive for many of us. Good luck and pain free wishes to you, nani

Hello, Wink. Welcome... As Nani said, I hope you stick around, whether or not your cycle is ending. If you are in pain, suck up every ounce of support you can get. If you are not in pain, give support to others. In any case, I hope you ARE pain-free, or at least, towards the end of your current cycle. Again, welcome. My best to you, -Frank

Well it's 9 PM. I will be laying dow to sleep in about 1 hour. I wonder if this will be a good night or one where I will be jolted awake around midnight with a CH. I will say the Lords Prayer and pray for us all.
