Hi Keith and Welcome

Sorry for the bad time and few breaks.  What meds are you on?  There are folks here who've tried most everything known to abort and as preventative.

Me . . . 02 is my only abortive (can't take triptans), Verapamil is my preventative and I take 6 mg Melatonin (OTC) at night which helps reduce intensity and frequency of nightime hits I believe . . . seems to be helping quite a few of us.  Also water/water/water.

Glad you found the looney bin,  Smiley

Thank you for a real nice welcome.
I am on verapamil, Gabapentin, sumitriptan and O2 I dont get many pain free times but the O2 is my best friend Dr just about to change my meds so it does seem a bit scarey but at least they might find a better preventitive for me
