A regular feature of clusters for me. After an attack ends I frequently fall asleep and enjoy a most relaxing, refreshing nap.

I am always tired after a hit. Even if I get the headache aborted and it only lasts 15 minutes. Just another wonderful (yeah right) thing about clusterheadaches.

I am absolutely bloody knackered after an attack! I also find about half an hour or so after a ch I get a really horrible headache, completely different to ch, where I can't bear light, vomit more, and just want to lie down in the dark. I've seen another thread on here relating to migraines and ch and I'm wondering if that is this (but hoping not!!)

Yes, totally wiped, but usually can't sleep for a long while as this will usually bring it right back. After I have a "bad" one (as if any are good) I try my best to coast through the rest of the day, and if I get through it w/o anymore pain, I can usually sleep like a baby that night. Then the next day I feel refreshed, until the next hit. I never did like merry-go-rounds.

I usually take cafergot and I've had this happen a few times. I'm like you, dead tired at 0300 and wishing I could sleep but, sad to say, I've just eaten 300-400 mg of caffiene and sleep is not an option. *S* Regards Jack

| I've managed on O2 for the last week without any imigran at all ( quite proud of that actually!) I have had rebounds as well and quite alot but they are different, just a bad headache.. the simple truth is I don't know though! All I can be sure of is that they bloody hurt, I'm keeping a diary of what I get when so that hopefully I can see some sense in it at some point! Thanks for asking though

Hi Mick, Yes, the Cluster attacks can totally wipe me out. Even when the CH is gone, i'm tired as all get out. The ones at work really suck cuz I gotta keep working feeling like I haven't slept in days. Since I quit doing meds other than abortives it's not as bad I still get awful tired though. Hang in there. Hope you get some PF time soon.
