HI everyone. Im pretty new here, altho I have been reading posts for about 2 years on this site. I never usually write anything. I am pretty much at my witz end. Im am so aggrivated with the pain, my cycle started in the beginning of September. Everytime I think I may be coming out of it, something happens and I fall right back in. Yesterday I missed work and sat at home just feeling sorry for myself. And my head felt like I was hit with a baseball bat, so sore and bruised. I had taken 2 shots of imitrex and another last night, ya I know your not supposed to, but at this point I really don't care anymore. Does anyone ever feel like this? I feel so angry, annoyed and I just want everyone (friends, family) to just leave me the hell alone.

We have all felt like that at one time or another. Sorry to hear it is your turn now.

About the amount of imitrex you're taking.........
compared to some people you are not taking a lot. You  may want to look under the 'imitrex tip' button on the left side of your screen. You'll see how to use less drug in each shot.

Welcome and I'm sorry you're here. I'm guessing we all feel like this at times. That's why we all come back here- it's a great place to vent. My husband asked me recently why I keep coming back to this board and I explained that these are the best kind of friends to have- they never come over unannounced, they never ask me to watch their kids and most of all they all understand... SO vent all you want...we get it. Hang in there, if you're episodic this will pass. If you're chronic they wont pass, but the pain often gets much less intense.  hug

Thank you... I read the imitrex tip, but have been reluctant to try it. As it is, I just jam the thing in my leg with my eyes closed. Im just so frustrated with everything. Everything and everyone. Thanks for listening to me.

hi bethany1.
i no exactly how you feel luv, trust me we all do! i go to college and also have a part time job. My attacks usually come first thing in the morning, and when i'm ment to be at work for 7.30 or college for 9 it's impossable. i only managed to go into college once last week, and missed 2 days of work.
and when i stay at home i get more and more depressed. it's a horriable cycle and hard to break. we just have to get through it and try and stay strong.

i wish you well.....clare  Smiley
