yup, me too. when I get hit, my wife knows to talk and walk very quietly. even when she's doing something like just rubbing my head, she does it very softly. Too bad my teenagers haven't figured that out yet. they made the mistake last week of bickering at each other right when I was getting hit. very bad idea for them...

My wife has had Migraines along with me,although I don't think they are cluster.They don't come with the same frequency as mine and are usually treatable with Maxalt...anyway she does understand the pain we experience.I've had her rub my head and neck more times than I could ever count.The main thing is understanding.Sometimes I might ruin an evening out because of a cluster.Good luck to you,and may God make your husband pain free.

My own husband has a tendency to want to "hover" when I'm in the throes. It has taken awhile, but he now knows - when the beast is around - he can't be. He's a wonderful supporter. It sounds like you are too. Hugs, Kris
