helloooo, me poorly head to, i masturbate early in an attack, sometimes it works  i`m honestly no being crude, sometimes it gets rid of the bugger    ok more about MEEE!, i`m 31, i`m alive, i`m a man, i`m ok,i have a beatiful 2 year old daughter called leila, i have been getting "the killers" since i was 19 ,usualy in autumn for a month or so, averaging 3 times a day and night, ive tried zomig (crap), and now i`m on tofanamic acid??( and it really makes the little fella sting when i have a slash), how can we be in so much pain and not pass out? weird x

Hi gaz,
Why don't you tell a little more about yourself such as, how were you diagnosed with CH? How long do your headaches last and how often? How long have you had ch's for (months? years?), what sort of meds have you tried, are there any your are currently using. How old are you, are you married, any kids? Those sort of things would be nice to know so we can get a little backround on ya and perhaps help you if need be.

Seriously though folks, if you could possibly contemplate it (I couldn't when in that much pain) but quite a few people find wanking aborts Ch attacks.

welcome to CH.com. I am a Northern Lass, originally from Cleethorpes (don't laugh) and now I live in America.
The subject of masturbation to get rid of a HA has been touched on (pardon the punn) before. I am not embarrased to admit that it has helped me in the past when I had no medicine. It's just really hard to get a fantasy going in your head when the devil is playing "watch it burn" with your eyeball.

I actually tried it once when I was about 22, and for the first 30 seconds or so upon completion, (sounds like a military operation), I thought it worked. Then I went from 0-10 in terms of pain so fast I thought the top of my fuckin head was gonna blow off. Maybe it works more effectively if you let pain get higher than I did before you start. I'm too scared to even attempt it again. That was 19 years ago, and it's still one of my top five HA's of all time. Sure didn't start out that way.
