Well I just thought I'd share the daily grind. Day  18 of this bout.. Tesion was there all day waiting to break. Tried lying down after work from exhaustion. Fell asleep at 3, woke up at 325 with the beast. Yuk... Thank fully two tys#3 and a zomig(rapidmelt) knocked it down... 1130 while climbing into bed the beast came back with a vengance. I tried the Axert this bout. Unfortunatly it did not kick in and the beast had me walking the street and crawling the ground till 115 am. Then it left... thank god.

Saw doc today, got the prescription for O. Waiting for the O man to get here. He as well gave me some Imitrex. Which came in handy as the beast wouldn't even let me get home and smacked me on the highway. 100mg and down he went. whew.

Anyhooters, just an update from a newbie long term sufferrer.
Should I get on the O when I get the beast? or use it to keep clear? Any thoughts would be helpful.. Huh

Thanks

Doug..

Doug,

If I understand you correctly, you are mixing triptans...

CH will become the least of your worries if you are doing that.

O2 is used as an abortive...use it as soon as possible at onset of the attack.

Careful with the triptans!

Do not mix triptans, it can literally kill you.

Well see thanks for the info. My doc did not even tell me that. He is the one giving me all the various forms. Perhaps I should have a word with him.lol
So now that I have had imi today, am I safe to use it again if the beast returns?

Thanks for the tips.. probably saved a life...
