Good morning, Feels kinda weird thinking this but it is sort of nice to know that others are up @ 4 in the morning pacing around like me. I hope all find some kind of comfort or relief in something!!! I have my first Neuro Appt. monday morning and wanted to know what people's experiences were like. Should I arm myself with anything other than complaints. This group/site is certainly educating me and it is appreciated. Any people on Long Island pacing there homes now? Anyway hard to think straight. Be well, E

| Yes.Knowledge! All neuros are not created equal, some know CH,some don't I would suggest some researching here on the top 4 CH meds-Imitrex Injections,O2,Verapamil and, prednisone. Good luck with the neuro. If you can't find all the info you need on these meds, post your questions,we'll help. start here for O2 info- http://www.headachesupportgroups.com/oxygen/oxygen.htm PF2U,,,,,,,,,BillyJ

Welcome to the board, E Lots of great info located here. Good idea to print out what info you think you'll need and take it with you. How long have you had CH? Have you ever taken any meds for it? Let us know how things go for ya at the doc on Monday. PF vibes, Jean

Welcome. Sorry to have to meet you like this. On the OUCH site, there are some great forms to take with you to your doctor to have him fill out........one for an ER visit, to say you are not a drug seeker and that you do have more than just a headache............. and one for your employer that helps explain what is going on with you. Take as much info as you can to the doctor. If he says he understands your pain because he has "migraines" too...........RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and find another doctor. Let us know how it goes. good luck..............Little Deb
