Thank God Im not the only person in the world who has this problem!!!!!  I've been a closet CH sufferer for about 12 years.   The Drs. I've seen since the begining (and there's been about 25) could never figure out what was wrong with me.  Finally I got a real Dr that knows what he's talking about.  I GOT OUTTED TWO  WEEKS AGO FINALLY!!!!!!!!(and I mean no offense to anyone who is a homosexual) Im starting to use Maxalt LT & Ultram.  The Maxalt I use if I start to feel the "shadow" and I usually know if that's going to work with-in 20 mins. or so.  The ultram I use at about Stage three on the KIP scale or if I still feel the shadow after a 1/2 hour.  Sometimes it works but in this cycle has been worse than my last two cycles.(and I only realize this thru talking with my Dr and my wife (GOD BLESS THAT WOMAN FOR BEING THERE TO HELP. I'm sure I would have killed myself by now!!!)).  I was enjoying a wonderful 9 months and I thought they might actually be gone for good.  Then came March.  Damn Demon!!!!  I would like to thank you all for this website so I can talk to people who really understand my pain!!!!  It's like childbirth.... until you do it, you can't understand the pain!!!!!!!!!

Welcome! Sorry you have CH, but you found the best place in the world for help and support.

And you are correct, the only way someone can understand the pain of CH is to have them. At least that is been my experience dealing with the general populace.

Even though I'm equally as new to the board as yourself, I welcome you as well!  It's an odd twist when you feel great to find out that others are suffering from something that you wouldn't wish upon your worst enemy.  I guess misery loves company?   Wink
