WOW! Where was this site and the net?

Wish I would have had access to all this info back in 82 when the beast first attacked me. I had to self diagnose by researching at the library and took even had to take the book to my DR before he believed me. Of course in 84 wasn't much he could do about it except sympathize which he wasn't very good at. My cycle started about 2 months ago usually 3 to 4 a day around 7 on the scale but as high as 8 or 9 sometimes. Sounds bad but actually just thankful it's not 10-12 a day at 10 on the scale like I used to have. Thank God for imitrex. Only problem is I've been in remission for about 2 years so I gave most of my stock to a fellow sufferer thinking (or hoping) the beast was lost forever.
Anyway, thanks for the board and look forward to giving and recieving suppor and info in the long weeks to come.

PS Do they make imitrex in an IV?

Welcome to the fold. Sorry you have to deal with this horror but you'll find some good ideas about dealing with this thing here. You might try very vigorous exercise and sleeping in a recliner. Both can have an effect.
