Hi guys!

My name's Dave (a new member of OUCH UK). I have been living with the Beast for over 30 years (eCHer) but as most of you can relate to - it was diagnosed as anything but CH!

I now use oxygen, imi jabs, no booze in cycle, oxygen, head banging, screaming at the stars and, oh, did I mention O2?

Seriously, finding OUCH was a Godsend - up until that point I was taking token meds which you just give up on after a while.  Now, I feel I have a big stick to hit the barstool with!

Keep up the great work and what a site you've got here!

PFD to all.

Dave

Dave,

Welcome aboard.  Grab an oar and start rowing...  Are you in cycle now?  If so, hope it ends soon!

Welcome Dave. You'll find lots of ideas for dealing with this horror amongst all the silliness. That's quite a medical salad and I'm glad you have some success.  Here is a technique that worked for me:

This one is to help others understand that this has nothing to do with what is thought of as "headache:"

Thanks for the welcome  Smiley

I'm not in cycle at the mo - free for just over a month. Only recently started using imi + O2 so whilst they work for me I am not going to try alternatives. Well, not until I start screaming again and they stop working!

After all this time I'm just grateful to have something to fight with.  Off to my first UK regional meeting next month where we can all hold hands and scream at the stars  Wink

PFD to all.
