If our oldest cat still had claws - our second cat and our dog would look like walking band-aid commercials.
 
I'm not sure why they tolerate her - she never forgave either one of em' for invading her space.

Some cats are ferocious about their territories Grin.  I don't have a cat at the moment, but I used to know a cat that could give a dog four noses with one swipe. laugh
