LOL Helen that's cool. My hubby and I got married alone....got tired of waiting (my parents wanted to pay, but couldn't, but were too proud to admit it) we let them put us off for 2 years. Then we went on our road trip. Ended up on a gorgeous mountain top in Pearisburg, Virginia. Just the minister and us. Our wedding cake? A pack of little debbie cakes. Our wedding bed? A sleeping bag in a tent. We did dress up though and the minister took pictures of us while she performed the ceremony. That was almost 7 yrs ago. I'm ready to renew our vows. With a real dress, and my son and daughter as ring bearer and flower girl. *sigh* hopefully we can make it happen before the kids are too old to be ring bearer and flower girl.
