It seems like I've spent alot of time in the hospitals this past year getting IV Histamine, SoluMedrol, DHE, and other drugs. I've told my doctors that I can handle a 'few' hits per day but not 6 KIP 9's per day (thats just plain ridiculous). I just don't want to live that way. So, when have you (or will you) draw the line and seek medical help (ER or hospital) ?? I was just thinking about it and I Know half the staff at my local ER, no kidding. When to say when ?? UNsolved

Michael - I'm in serious hopes this doesn't mean your last histamine treatment has worn off. Been gone a few days on holiday. I'm obviously not the person who can really answer you, episodic as I am ... so far, anyway. I've never visited the hospital for a CHA. You need answers from chronic sufferers I would guess. Were I in your shoes, I'd probably say "to Hell" with conventional treatments and go for alternatives! And - I'd probably start without bothering with detox from meds. Our Clusterbuster friends might disagree, but your suffering and extended episodes seem to call for drastic measures! Just my thoughts .... Hugs, my friend. Kris

I will go to ER if I just can't end it and need a real break. Michael, I agree with Kris. It's time you venture onto something that may bring you some relief! Contact them!!!!

Unsolved1 I personally would draw the line and seek conventional medical ER or hospital when I break my leg or get in a car crash or am inflicted with any other disease. Unless a new and sure treatment were to come along. However I think that line should be drawn at that moment when anyone says they cant take it anymore and that line is different for each of us. My wife would have me in for a cat scan every day if she could. MJ
