2 color face

I have a symptom I wanna share with you and see if some of you have the same. In my cluster period my painfull side is always much warmer then my 'normal' side, I feel it very well at my ears. When I am not in a cluster and I do lots of sport, much running etc. , after that my face looks really weird. I have one side that is very red and the other side is pale. The funny thing is that it is really a distinctive line between left and right. Very funny sight but it luckily doesn't hurt. This makes me think that our CH are related to a malfunction of our bloodstream. Just a theory guys... and don't laugh with my 2-coloured face hahaha. 8 weeks in cluster now...pffft high time that it ends.

Okay Herwig, I'm not laughing at the thought of a two-toned face. Really. When I have a CH the right side of my face is very different from the left, it is redder, the eye is red and teary, the nostril drips and even my teeth on that side hurt. And when I work out my faces looks funny too-however, its my whole face -not just the cluster side. Check all the cool information to the left-there have been studies on the vascular (read blood vessel) component of CHs. But, I've never heard of anyone actually looking different out of cycle-might want to have that checked out, bro. kathy

Don't have the two colored face but...... have a strange malady (started before the first cluster episode) my left eyebrow sweats - not just a little but a lot even in cold weather. I have to wipe it constantly. It'll do this for weeks and then stop, only to start over when it takes a notion to. It's weird. It started about a year before the clusters hit me the first time. Hugs BD

Damn Barbara! That symptom is something I never related, but I also have sweat inside and above my left eyebrow all the time - whether in cycle or not! Of course I also have a very mild droop to that eye all the time also. No bi-color face though. Herwig - maybe you could tell people you're trying out for a role in a re-make of Close Encounters. Remember Richard Dreyfuss' face after he saw the spaceship the first time? Not making light - we all have very weird things we have to deal with. Your idea is pretty profound. Kris

Haha.. I tryed casting for a movie, but besides my double coloured face I had no talents for that. However, my neurologist asked me to take a picture after my hockey game when my 2-coloured face occurs. He asked me if he could show it on a convention for HA specialists. In a certain way I might get famous as a moviestar mmm. Besides you guys, I won't have a fanclub I guess... Seriously, I also think that CH has a lot to do with bloodstream etc...

Sure, my face gets redder and hotter on one side. I think it's because of the extreme pressure and heat i'm applying to that side. UNsolved

I do wanna post it, but I don't have it anymore because it was on my old puter that crashed. I'll keep my camera by hand for the next hockey game and definitely will put it here after.

| Was that before or after you gave it to your neuro to show at the convention?

After I gave it. I might ask him back, but haven't visited him for a while as I know my meds and stuff.
