Not here Giff. Eat lots of seafood as it is as cheap as dirt and can get the best Mozambican prawns, crab, lobster, squid and clams fresh from the market here everyday. Besides chicken that is all we sometimes have here as we have to smuggle our red meat through the borders. Buying red meat here might be anything from donkey to cat.

If anything is going to trigger an attack be it sea food or some of the other CHit people mention, it will occur within minutes not an hour my friend. Trigger essentially means immediately. It was most likely a coincidence.

Giff it can be the salt content. I just luve anchovies, olives and caper pizza but I just loooove salt period. When I had sooo much salt, it takes a while to get the amount build-up in your system, then you bet your boots I get hit. Doesn't happen when I eat something with normal amounts of salt, so just try and stay away from too salty foods for sometime to check if that is a trigger. Or you can do it again to see but... yikes! not worth the gamble, I'll say!

Hi Giffy, In the seafood business (qa, production, buyer, tech services) and have eaten more seafood than anyone deserves -wonderfully lucky. Never even a coincidental hit and never met another in the business with CH (course, never met another clusterhead period, we is rare dogs). Now salt? (Thanks Jasmyn) That's intriguing. I crave it and will eat it right out of the shaker (kosher is the best). Put that along with the water treatment sworn by here by some and electrolyte imbalance/modification is a definite consideration. Regards Jon

Rebel, If you're asking me, I have a home bp machine, so check regularly. Typical bp is 118/76. Smoking raises it, verapamil decreases it but less than one would think. Jon

Will sea-food trigger an attack? Too right it will! Stand between me and a bucket of prawns - I attack. Stand between me and fresh Moreton Bay bugs - I attack. Stand between me and freshly BBQ'd barramundi - I attack. Stand between me and my famous oysters in beaujalais - I attack. Only ever heard about craw fish but wouldn't reccommend standing between me and them. Dinner's on at my house anytime you're passing, along with breakfast and/or lunch. Just give 3.55 seconds notice so I can give your beer time to properly breathe.
