Does anyone else feel euphoria as the headache ends? Not just relief but a really good buzz and the non-linear more creative type of thinking people report from some illegal drugs. And is this without taking anything that would have such an effect?

Yep. To me, it feels like the afterglow of sex, or the way it feels after finishing a cross-country run on a cool, clear summer night.

i do feel this euphoria, and I attribute it to the fact that i have survived another "unsurvivable" cluster. no matter how many of these i have had in the past and lived through, when i am in mid cluster i feel the sense of dread and get the feeling that the cluster will never end. its a sense of hoplessness and helplessness unique to this affliction. when the cluster does come to an end i just want to hug my wife and thank god i survived.
