Hey everyone. I hope you are all having a good day.  I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who responded to my post yesterday on looking for help.  My husband used a variety of methods last night, and he made it through the night without an awful surprise waking him up!  He drank water all day/night, and when he started to feel a headache coming, he got on our exercise machine for a few minutes, drank some coffee afterwards, and then took some melatonin.  We aren't sure which approach was what worked, but I'm thankful he made it through.  Each time I woke up I just prayed that he would continue sleeping.   It's only one night, and it sucks to worry what tonight will bring.  But I hope that he is able to continue without the pain.  Thanks for all your advice, and I pray you all are feeling well.

Thats Good News to hear.... Hopfully the PF nights keep coming...

Also remember as a Supporter You also need to get your rest and maybe even some alone time, just to keep yourself in order....

It won't do any good for you both to be tired all the time...

If you need someone to talk to there are alot of wonderful Women Supporters and CH'ers here... find someone that you feel comfertable talking to... It done my wife alot of good to also realize that she was not alone as a supporter.. and she got alot of good advice on how to deal with me, when I was not to be dealt with...

Its also ok to give your hubby the room he needs when he is having an attack, I go to the bathroom and lock myself in there, I take my meds and I do not come out until the HA has gone away... it used to drive my wife nuts, she was always scared to death... but she learned from the people here to just give me the space I need and be there for me after the cycle is over.. Its nice to have someone there after the Dance, its takes alot out of a person, which I am sure you already know..

As I tell everyone, this site not only saved my LIFE, but my MARRIAGE also.... I thank everyone here for that..

God Bless & PFDAN's

Would the owner of the propane torch, egg beater, pipe expander and vise grips please claim these items. They're lodged in my head and I need the space. (burnt-toast)

Ditto to what charlie said.

Plus, no need to thank us. We've all been where your husband is, and our wives have been where you are, and we've all received the help you got and now are just helping others. It's what makes this place tick.

On the melatonin, he shouldn't take it in the middle of the night. He needs to do 2 things: take it 30-45 minutes before going to sleep, and take it every night. The stuff builds up in his system, so he needs to be constant.

Here's hoping to another PF night. Cheesy
