I thought I'd felt pain with these damn things...I can't even believe I'm still alive at the moment. I had my first undeniable KIP 10. I was at work. I closed my door, put on the 02 mask and it just exploded. I banged my head on my desk so hard I made my nose bleed. I actually thought I was going to jam a screwdriver in my eye. I could barely breathe. I don't get sick with these things, but I thought I was going to puke just because it hurt so much. Don't know why I'm posting, but I just had to talk about it. It scared me. I'm still stinging and shadowing. I've seen a 10 - don't care to again.... Chris

I'm sorry you are hurting so badly. I can honestly say that I've never had a Kip 10, and from reading other posts, I hope to God I never have one. Wishing you PF and lots of strength! Sandy

I'm pretty sure all I was thinking was, M#therF*#king son of a B*#ch, somebody shoot me in the head I hope like hell I never have to experiance another one. The last one I had was in 19998 and I was crying my son who was 4 at the time was crying my wife was crying. It sucked! All I could do was curl up in a ball and roll around and cry. I really thought I was dying, and than it just left me. Of course I was sick and nausious from chewing Ultrams like they were Pez but at that point I didn't care. Thankfully my daughter has yet to wittness a bad one, hope she never has to. Sorry for rambling. Ryan

Chris, You got it, a dinkum 10, and lived to tell the story. That means you've handled the worst the beast can throw at you, and come out the other side. Proves you're tougher than the beast is.

Kip 10's are scary as hell. During my last cycle I had two of them and scared both me and my wife. I try to take solace in the fact that every minute I endure the pain I'm one minute closer to relief but during a 10-spot, that's tough. Keep fighting the good fight! Bill

Chris Congratulations! You are now an official butt-kickin' cluster victor. Not victim. I had 3 Kip 10's in one day this cycle. Never want one again. You made it through, so you're tougher than you thought. I'm praying for pain free days and nights for you! kathy

Thanks everyone. I'm glad I could just spew here. I kind of feel a little better now that I got over that one. HOOBOY. I have been using kudzu, but it's obviously quit working. I was trying not to use trex, but I'm fully stocked and loaded. I jabbed myself at the first pain ping today. I hope to all hell that I never go to that level again. My eyes look like someone punched me and I'm still fuzzy and shadowy, but things are looking up. I so appreciate the words of encouragement. It's hard to describe what that was like to the uninitiated...what a club. Chris

I had a couple of those toward the end of my last cycle. Punched holes in the wall in my bedroom (damn near broke my hand and my wife later told me was stupid), screamed so loud the neighbors were looking out their windows WTF was going on, and had the wife and kids crying thinking I was dying. Fortunately the cycle ended soon afterward and caused me to re-think what is a Kip 10.

In 10years, I haveonly had 3 of that went past a level 8. Pure torture, that's all you can say. I only know 4 swear words, but linked them and chanted them for 20-40 mminutes..... when it leaves, whew...what a great rush of relief. It was a level 10 that made me scared to leave to house to go shopping..... but a few days after having it, I stumbled onto this website andfond the courageto start fighting for my life back. Instead of ducking and canceling dinner at a friend's house, I challenge the beast to try to ruin my good times.... but yeah, still duck and pace and weave... anything to avoid the attacks. God bless ya! tam

Chris, I am so sorry... I've had two Kip-10's, and I swear, I wanted to die. If someone would have walked in and shot me, with my dying breath, I would have thanked them. Hang in there. You are a survivor and a victor, and you have come through the worst of the worst. Don't celebrate with nitroglycerin and a bottle of Merlot, though. But seriously: Congratulations, and I'm glad you made it through. Hang in there...
