No doubt. Easy. 1. Paxil - the addiction was fucking horrible (physical dependence, whatever... call it what you wish), I can't believe I survived the withdrawl month. 2. Ultram - a useless waste... gave me a migraine to go with my CH. They call it a painkiller? LOL, right. --- Steve

Prednisone - Very uncomfortable physical withdrawals while tapering down and large increase in appetite. Imitrex - Caused rebound headaches, seemed the rebounds intensity were increased, memory loss, background headaches, shakiness. No problems with alternatives and O2 .

No question - Cafergot Really altered the timing of my CH attacks. Made my arms and legs fee toasty/numb - looked like they belonged to disfigured and well steamed lobster. Tom

Don't even have to think about this one: Topomax - Made me dumber than a bag of hammers, made the attacks worse. Tegretol - Gave me a loud and nearly maddening ringing in my ears that has never completely gone away. Did nothing for the CH.

Lithium Valporic Acid Neurotin Imitrex topamax was my lifesaver (back on it now after a sabatical) I just hate meds Amitriptriptalye (or however you spell that one) Couldn't wake up for weeks..... Didn't help the pain = just couldn't stay awake - Space cadet school time. Predisone -- still trying to get the weight off.... didn't help the pain either Lots of blood pressure stuff -- almost killed me (low blood pressure to start with). Don't know about the rest of you -- I'm tired of being a guinia Pig, but what the hell else can we be????? Hugs BD

Topamax - Otherwise known as the dumb blonde pill. and gave birth to two kidney stones. Reglan - Supposed to be for nausea and HA treatment but that stuff makes you feel even more lousy. Paxil - a quick way to gain 20 pounds and it didn't help.

Amitriptriptalye was like throwing gas on a fire gave me a kip 9 for three hours thought i had gave myself a permanant freaking headache scared the shit out me. aderall killed the headache but delivered a killer rebound ha and i couldnt eat on it no appitiete herb made it worse wich was a bummer. relpax was good for two weeks then it just stopped working at all waste of money there at $21 a pill. neurontin worked good to keep them away but i developed hand tremors from prolonged use wich was a posted side effect. vicodin and percs did nothing at all but cause rebounds that sucked i got a bottle of 100 with 4 refills and they are useless. so now i just do alternative treatment wich cost near nothing and really work with no side effects

Idiot bloody neuro had me on Cafergot up to 12 a week, then says he wants to try me on Deseril twice daily. They're the same thing, of course, so I'm ODing something fearful. Woke up one morning a week later with a sprained ankle. Odd, thinks I. Next morning I wake up with the other ankle sprained and a sprained knee as well. Pharmacist was horrified when she realised what was happening and that was just on 10 years ago - the last time I took anything for CH.

For me...and I know it's a lot of clusterheads savior...but Imitrex makes my chest tight and gets me nauseous. Then Topamax and finally Stadol either nasal spray or I.M.

Prednisone - Wicked appetite increase. I would eat dinner, and then less than an hour later, go and eat a whole pizza. When I told my doctor that I "wanted" to eat a whole pizza, she said, "Well, you're not acting on that impulse are you? Because that would be bad." I said, "Um, no. Of course not. I gained like 20-25 pounds last summer on 2 pred tapers. Methysergide - After only a week I couldn't remember how to eject a CD from my computer. Told the doc, she was shocked, not sure if she believed me. I told her I wanted off. Imitrex helps, but I think I get rebounds. And I also think that its effectiveness is decreasing for me. Same here with Topomax, any nasal sprays cause me not to be able to breathe through my nose for a long time. Lexapro caused 20 lbs of weight gain. And a long list of stuff that just doesn't work for me. BF

I'm with Blue and Jimmy on this one. Stadol NS is the nastiest stuff I've ever tried. It messed me pretty bad and I STILL had the headache. Never went back for a second time. Jim
