I'M FREE OF THE DEVIL!

I had headaches about once a week on the pain level scale of 8 or 9. Although it would happen at any time of year, it mostly happened in Spring or Fall, or doing dry weather periods. About a year and a half ago, I did research on vitamins and nutritional supplements after my doctor lied to me about treatment of high cholesterol. That prompted me to change my vitamins and supplements. After that change, my cluster headaches completely stopped! I have had a couple of shadows within the past year, but NEVER a full-blown cluster headache.
My new regimen come completely from the NSI brand on Vitacost.com. This is NOT an endorsement for them. I simply want you to know exactly what works for me. I take one pill a day after breakfast of the following items:
Multi-Vitamin (Synergy Once a Day on Vitacost.com)
Omega 3 EPA & DHA (Mega EFA)
Vitamin E (Gamma E Tocopherol Complex)
Calcium (Calcium & Magnesium)
Magnesium
Vitamin C
Via some research from a reputable source, my understanding is that the magnesium is the key. These vitamins and supplements give me over 200 mg of magnesium per day. Also, I recommend avoiding cheap vitamins and supplements. For example some Omega 3 fish oil supplements use the cheapest ingredients. Via some minor non-CH headaches, I think a cheap brand that I no longer buy had some mercury in it. Quality does matter.
I sincerely hope that someone finds this information helpful and gets permanent relief from cluster headaches like I did.

Glad to hear your sinuses cleared up and you rid your self of those pesky little sinus headaches.
I'll stick to a full body armour suit if theraputic magnets.
I've also heard that the Fred vitamin is much better than the Dino vitamin for stress headaches.

First you have to have clusters to be able to be cured of them??? I have taken all sorts of vitamins...even ones that are better than the ones mentioned, and still got slammed the whole time. I've heard that waxing ones chest is effective, too.

I have been taking calcium tables, magnesium tablets and multivitamin regularly for quite some time now. In the very beginning I noticed that magnesium did help with ch. But it wasn't the vitamins but verpamil which finally gave me PF days...

How many of us came here CURED?! I came here out of despiration, I came here because I had nowhere else to turn. There are recurring themes to the trolls and they all have a half hidden sales pitch for some snakeoil. When THEY try to describe what they call clusters their attacks are never like any I have heard described here. They are all very generic. I suffered from severe headaches for 20 years until I tried BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!

"Cure" seems to be the operative irritant here. I think it's fair to be skeptical of anyone who claims a certain product "cured" them. Now, that being said, I have joined other message boards just to tout the kudzu treatment. No one has questioned my intentions. Granted, part of the problem is in presentation. When I post somewhere, I do not mention a brand name or claim to be cured. I just share my experiences. I used to be one of the first to jump on the "Kill the troll" wagon...I'm a little more sensitive now. Just in case.
