Nobody knows why the hypothalamic region of the brain goes abnormal on us CH people nor why it sometimes goes back to normal nor why some people become chronic and some don't.....nothing any of us can do about it, if it happens then it happens and if it don't then it don't-this is the latest scientific word on the subject translated into normal people English.

I agree. At this point, we know that the hypothalmus is involved in cluster but not exactly what is happening or what the significance, hence, how to turn knowledge into curative actions. Goadsby's research has been ground breaking but, at this point, with the effect of turning the ship a few degrees in a new course for research. I suspect that it will be a decade before some new treatments will emerge from his research.
