Great News!

I haven't had all day clusters for three days now! YAY! Since I have been back on Olanzapine, my attacks have been limited to the morning AFTER I wake up (no more waking up from an attack!) and that has been the only attack higher than a kip 2 all day long! I am also on Cephalexin, Nasonex (steroid nose spray), and fluoxetine. Not sure if any of those have been partially or wholely responsible for the break. I really hope this is not false hope, but I want to know if it is. Is my elation to be short lived? Is it the steroid nose spray that is soothing the beast? When it runs out, will it awaken? I pray to the God of my understanding that it doesn't. I admit, this is suffering. Our position is not enviable, though it no doubt has changed us all theosophically. I doubt others would walk this road for spiritual gain. I find it funny to experience a migraine headache and be joyous! It has happened to me and no doubt to many of you. After days of being incapacitated with the pain of clusters, a throbbing migraine felt so close to normal it was elating, but I digress... Am I being unrealistic? Will the clusters return soon? ...and, if so, how long do I have?

This medicine has been known to work for others in stopping ch. Have you tried oxygen or imitirix to abort? I would think they would be more faster effective to get rid of the ha once it started.

Enjoy it and be prepared in case it does comeback! Steroids tend to give people a break or set people into remission. Good luck and if PF get your ass moving towards BAUHAUS reunion Be well! Eric

Congrats on PF time! I agree with others: concentrade on the PF time, enjoy every moment of it. I hope it lasts for a long, long time. But be also prepared in case of the beast returns. I hope it won't, but with ch, you can never tell! Good luck & lots of PF days & nights, Sanna/sandie99

Way to go Nix, I too feel I am going into remission. Not sure if it's the new meds or what. Everytime I let my guard down I wake up with a HA. So I've learned to always be prepared. Good Luck and let us know how you are doing! Brandi

To Clusterkat "from my own experience, the longest cluster remission ive had so far has been a week. ahhhh what a wonderful week it was ( inhales slowly) blessings to you. " No Kat, blessings to YOU. Here I am feeling sorry for myself because I know I'll hit my next cycle in about a year or two. One week! God bless you. You have strength that I only wish I could achieve. XXXOOO
