This has been a weird cycle, I started in Mid Feb quit for three weeks in March , then ramped back up. Well now I am getting 3 or 4 a week that hit 7 or higher. Shadows are small but still there. Doc took me off verap because of heart blockage, I still have trex inj. but only use it on the bad ones, I went without anything for a long time thinking that the meds was keeping them around, but I had to go back on the trex for the hits at work. I have tried the Kudzu with little luck. Can anyone offer any insight?

I have an O2 machine with a 10 LPM flow for my night hits. Melatonin does nothing for me.

You cannot do both, but another option is a Triptan called Amerge. It's in a tablet form which requires you to take it immediately upon first sign of a big hit. It supposedly does not effect the heart as bad as Imitrex. Don't take it cuz I say, but you may want to ask your neuro about it. I use it when I'm out of Trex and it seems to work pretty good most times. I don't do prevents so can't help you there. Good luck... maybe this will be a very short cycle since you just got off one.
