Met my first clusterhead today!

I met my first clusterhead (other than me) in person today ! Quite emotional for me but not so much for her. She sees people like me all the time, I guess...... I went to get my O2 prescription filled for the first time, and the lady working in the dispatch area is a clusterhead. She was very kind but seems to know very little about how to treat our condition. She only uses O2 as an abortive, and takes nothing else. She gave me 3 E-tanks (the little ones) and told me that each one will last for 3 to 4 attacks. Is that right? It was either that or getting a big one. I would rather have a few little ones in the closet than looking at a big one even when I'm out of the cycle. I guess I want to be a closet clusterhead What sort of tanks are people using? How long do they last? Does oxygen go stale in the tanks? I'm thinking ahead of when my cycle ends. Thanks.

They are between a large H tank and the small E tanks. I think they are the perfect compromise as they do hold quite a bit of O2 and are still fairly portable. How long do they last? When I am in cycle an M-60 lasts 2-3 days. Does oxygen go stale in the tanks? Not that I've ever known. Thanks. |

Religion and sex are powerplays. Manipulate the people for the money they pay. Selling skin, selling God, the numbers look the same on their credit cards. Triptans cause rebounds. Learn it, believe it, live it. I use triptans as the absolute LAST RESORT when treating my CH.

Hi Jose! Congrats on meeting your first clusterhead! (even though her reaction wasn't quite the same as yours. I would have been like you.) Maybe you can give her the "address" here so she can learn more. An E tank will last me about three attacks.(I have about six) I also have baby D's which I can tote around easier. Fits in a gym bag or backpack. Those last me about one and a half aborts. I'm very glad you've got your O2!!!! PF's for you, lionsound

My second neurologist was a clusterhead. Haven't met any others.

Would the owner of the propane torch, egg beater, pipe expander and vise grips please claim these items. They're lodged in my head and I need the space.

I mainly use the bigger tanks, but have a small one I keep tied down in my van. I usuely take 8-10 12-14 for the really nasty bastards, LPM for 10-15 mins. which gets me 3, 3 1/2 maybe 4 attacks from each bottle, or about 45-60 mins. The little bottles only give me about 25-30 mins. Better days
