Ok.... my oxygen works good for stopping headaches but they come right back in an hour.  I turn it on about 8-9 LPM until it subsides, which is normally within 10 minutes and then turn it off... only to be woke up by the knock of the beast again when I'm trying to snooze.  Am I doing something wrong???

Not doing anything wrong.....if it is waking you up then it is already in motion and might take longer.

Have you tried melatonin for sleep........It has helped many including myslef when I was getting the wake me ups!!!

Really was a life saver.

You may want to try a higher flow. 10 - 15 lpms is what most of us need. Good luck and PF wishes, nani

I love O2. I really do. It's our one common denominator.....

Doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. O2 usually does one of three things:
1. Stops a CH dead in it's tracks.
2. Doesn't work at all.
3. Provides relief until an abortive kicks in.

At least O2 is something You can control. 15+ lpm is cool.

Hello Conrad,

I'm not using oxygen myself but i've read on the boards that some people tend to continue breathing oxygen at a lower rate for about 5-10 minutes after their headache has subsided. That might keep the beast at bay for a longer while, but like i've said i'm not using oxygen so i don't have a personal experience.

PFDAN to all,
Perry.

Good call Don.  If 8-9 lpm is working for him, turnig up the flow would only waste O2.
