It worked about 50/50 for me, didn't like it as much as the shots. But It gave me rebounds just like the shots did. Now I use zomig,(pill form) and that works great!

I have not used the Imitrex NS, but the Zomig NS works for me just as fast as an Imitrex shot. (Which I have used)
Imitrex has a half life of like 2-3 hours, Zomig's half life is up to 22 hours.....do the math

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I can't remember if it was Zomig or another med like it,but I felt so terrible after I took it. I'm so afraid to try it again..I think it was something I put under my tongue..not sure though...I guess it is all trial and error

Sure, if you have several very cold icepaks on hand to hang on with until it kicks in. Or if the oxygen is not helping, keep breathing it until the trex takes affect.
Do it as early as possible, works for me, eventually.

It kicks in in 6-10min and is as fast as the shot for me. I love it since I hate needles!

The shots work alot better for me. I can lower the dose to increase the amount of doses. Plus I dont get the rebounds with the lower dosage that I got with the NS.
