I started with melatoin at night and had alot of luck with it. After about 3 months didn't help anymore. Since then I have tryed everything. Benadryl and Amibien and even temazepam and its all starting to fail again. Why??? And any ideas for me? I thought of retrying melatoin but is that just a waste of time?? Please any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried lots of meds for sleep too....ambien, trazadone, nortriptyline, gabitril, remeron.....and melatonin is the only thing that I will claim success with. If I were you, I would try again. remember that it can take a little while to build up in your system. Be well and rested, lionsound

I would definately try it again, especially if you had success in the past. They will never be able to take my melatonin away from me!

I have fouind several things to work for me for awhile and then lose their effectivness and be ineffective forever as far as I can tell. I try some of them over and over and it just doesn't do anything. Good luck with you and your meds. May they last forever and bring you many days and nights of pain free relief.

The first time I used melatonin it stopped the cycle cold in its tracks---never worked again after that. I'd give it another try......what do you have to lose? Also, investigate kudzu and the alternative treatment. Best of luck to you. John
