O2.......OMG What a relief!

I got my O2 delievered Friday, since then...."I'm in heaven, oh in heaven, the birds are singing because I'm in heaven!" Man what a thing to be able to put the deamon in his place and to have a somewhat normal evening. Thank you so so so so much here at the board for your information and support! Who would have thought it possible. At the first sign of a CH I jump on the old mask and just like that the pain is gone. I still don't have the right kind of mask, but I made due with a little "duck tape", man that stuff really can fix anything, and I have been in heaven since. Thanks again! And if anyone is thinking about the ole O2, all I can say is do it do it do it! I hope you all many PF days ahead....

Just so you know we use a mask with a bag on it. Like in the hospital. And it seems to work pretty well. We only use the O2 at night, if he gets a CH. It seems to be louder with the bag, but you do what you have to do.

http://www.emtmedicalco.com/catalogs/store.asp?pid=20366&catid=21714 Less than 2 buck each..but the shipping is a set rate..so I ordered 5 to at least make the shipping and mask costs about equal....

I saw an act of faith today. A man was on his knees, not in a pew in a Church, but in a garden planting seeds. ~~Unknown

Looked at your link, Redd, and saw this puppy: http://www.emtmedicalco.com/catalogs/catalog.asp?prodid=2107929 Any of you EMT/nurse types familiar with this bad boy? It was the "COMFORT-FLEXIBLE PVC CUSHION FACE MASK ENSURES A TIGHT FIT" that caught my eye. Most of the NRB masks I've found are under $2 also......and I'm gettin what I pay for....Not Much. Always looking for that better mouse trap. The wife heard the mask hissing, and thought I'd blown a seal......I told her it was just a little ice cream in my moustache. RJ
