I know it's got a mind of it's own, but it's daytime now and I have never had them at this time of the day. I guess it's what is known as a Creative Cluster Headache. Oh well, shot time again. Marta

Hang in there Marta. My clusters have "morphed" and have changed up their times on a number of occasions. One thing always remains constant though, CH always SUCKS! Casey

Sorry you are having a ruff time Marta. I hope that you get relief soon. I have looked for patterns and found a few but I have learned that when it comes down to it, it comes and goes as it pleases. Just when you think you have found a pattern SURPRISE... Hang in there you are in my thoughts and prayers... Kim

| Ditto on what Casey said. I always say there is no rhyme or reason with these things. Hang in there Marta. Langa

Hang in there Marta ! As the others have said, these damnable things are like an opportunistic virus, mutating to find a window of opportunity sometimes. Hope you have PF time soon!! T.

Hi again, Thanks for all your kind thoughts. For the last hour I've had a wonderful crunchy neck and a gentle threat of a CH just looming above my eye. Oh B******s. I'll hold off having a shot as long as possible. This site is so cool. PF weeks for all. Marta

Oh man marta... that is exactly the perfect description!! "crunchy neck". I have never really been able to describe it properly, that hits the nail on the head. I think that feeling... the crunchy neck.. is why I sought the help of a chiro for so long. Never did any good with these tho. Crunchy neck. Right on. Unfortunately. PF wishes for you too dear.

Hi again, I was asleep in dreamland thinking wow, my necks crunching away. I realised this was no dream so woke up, had a teeny shot and within about 10 minutes neck had stopped crunching and CH didn't have a chance! Sometimes we are in control of CHs but I don't want to tempt fate. I think 've got another 2 - 3 weeks of this one and then I'll forget the bastard pain........until the next one. PF lives for all of us Marta

Marta, Thanks for that one. Here I was thinking I just had a crick in my neck, or maybe it was just the tension from all the Ch's. I guess it's just part of the package. Crunchy neck. Yep, that describes it perfectly. Wishing you speeds PFD''s. Lori

Marta, People who casually say "life's a bitch" never had a CH, did they? sorry you're sufferring so. When I was episodic I was like clockwork but since Iwent chronic two yeas ago the only thing predictable is that there is no prediting them...either frequency or longevity. Makes life interesting. Hang in there. Kim

Marta so sorry to hear about the Demon using new tactics. He has done the same to me. I had his attacks down pat, met him at every front, never won, but never gave up either. Then he changed up on me. Still fighting him day and night, never give up Marta! Those who have not had or been touch by CH will never truely understand, but we do and we are here for you! Praying for your PF days ahead!

Hello all, I am new to the site tho an old hat at these clusters. I just found the site after years of searching then gave up. I have been there and done almost everything I have read others have have said and done. I am still blown away at all this!!! The Cluster changing faces and finding windows to get around your efforts is so true. I thought I was the only one imagineing all this stuff, and nobody would listen or understand.... What a trip this site is after all these years. At one time they would come whenever I slept but this cluster only comes at night? It's a smart fellow for sure and has no patterns with me. I also use to get a dull headache all day when I was in a series... I did not this time? Only at night and thats good cuz i can play catch up this time during the day. But I have had so many years of lost sleep thats it's not even funny.. Oxygen is my only help and it works for me 95% of the time. I can only thank god I found it. I was dormant for 2.5 years and could sing a tune thinking they had gone forever, then a month ago HE made his entrance and I just about died!!! I think I am on the down side of the curve now and maybe getting better. For so many years I made feeble attempts and blameing everthing from the soap I used to my pet's dander and everything in between. What a joke I had no clue -that I am just doomed!!! Good luck to all... Denis
