Im a chronic sufferer and im 35 been having these head aches since i was 10 they were so bad and predictable that at certain periods in school the teacher would allow me to go somewhere dark, and do my work later! I Install auto glass on my own time ! After repeatedly trying to hold down a 8hr job and going throuhg the stess of getting fired or just walking off cause the pain I decided to learn a trade i can do on my own time(in other words ,around the beast!)I was wondering who on here that is a chronic has succesfully gotten disability from this condition! I know i suffer at leat two ch attacks between 7am and 4pm and im exauhsted after fighting each one ! Imitrex aborts them but makes me real tired and jittery and causes me several rebound CH!I cant reason or think clearly much less even see out of the right eye when mines come on! Just need to know if anyone has been unable to hold a 8hr job and what you did about it!

Yeah though my hours are 12 hour shifts so only 3-4 a week. If you have been at your current Job for a year. You can get an FMLA fom your doctor. You can get one every year. This will protect you if you need to leave early or need to miss a day. It will last you all year. It gives you basically 90 sick days. you wont get paid if you dont have sick pay or PTO but they cant fire you are question you about it.
