Diminishing CH Attacks
« on: Apr 6th, 2005, 1:42pm »

Over the last few years, my cycles have become farther apart with the attacks within the cycle diminishing in intensity and frequency (when i was younger it was everyday on the dot but recently it's been sporadic....every two days...every third day)

In the middle of a cycle and just had the mildest CH in memory.  My doctor seems to think i could be outgrowing my CHs or "burning it out"

Very strange....anyone else experience this?

Not me.   Undecided   I became chronic as I got older. I've heard of some people having that happen.
BUT....
That's great news for you. Hopefully your remission will become permanent!!!  Smiley

I don't know that I ever learned to "deal" with it. I just became complacent and accepted it. Until I finally found something that helps. Have you read about kudzu? There are threads about it on the medications board. Look at them and get info...just in case you ever need it.  Smiley  It actually seems a little more effective for episodics.

Just read the kudzu threads.  I'm slightly skeptical as to the wonderous effect.  I may actually get actual kudzu rather than the bills.  Chinese herbal medicine store.  Have you actually tried it?

Yes, I have had success with it. I am 98% pain free.  Smiley  I recommend it to everyone. It doesn't work for everyone...but a good percentage. Worth a try...IMHO
