Not sure if I have CH. My headaches do not seem to be as intense as some of yours. I have had the pain around my eys and temples, but I also have a stabbing pain on one side of my head around the top of the crown. I went to a neurologist last week and he said I had tension headaches. However, no narcotic or OTC drug seems to help. It seems to last all day, but comes and goes in intensity. Then one day it goes away. My last bad episode was Spring/Summer of 2003, but this one I'm in now has lasted for about 4 weeks. Started out with the eye pain, but now I'm left with stabbing pain. Had CAT scans done in 2003, but everything was normal. On BP meds, but my BP is normal with the meds. Any suggestions? Brandon

Welcome Brandon, The pain around the ey and temple sound like clusters but the lasting all day part doesn't. Try taking the cluster quiz (button on the left side of your screen). Let us know what the results are. Good luck. Sure hope you fail the test and it's not clusters.

Ditto Bob....... Also how long do your attacks last? There are other HA's that are extremely painful yet only last seconds or minutes....Icepicks, PH, SUNCT...... Hang in there & research!!!

Welcome Brandon As Bob said....take the cluster quiz....then come back and let us know what ya think. When my CH first started, it was not real intense either. Went on like that for a long time. But when I went into a full blown cycle.....it was a different story. Good luck and let us know how you're getting along. PF vibes, Jean

Hi there, Brandon! Welcome aboard. I do hope that you don't have CH... I wish nobody did. My CH started in fall 2001 with 4 daily attacks, which were not that intense. But cycle in 2002 and all HAs ever since (I'm chronic now) are severe. I wish you good luck... Sandie
