How do you know when...

Your cycle is over?  I was just diagnosed 8 days ago.  I have been having CH for about 6 years.  I get a cycle about once every year or 2.  Didn't really keep track cause I didn;t know what the hell was going on.  Thought it was just migraines.  Never diagnosed etc...

Is there something that tells you it is over.  No shadowing for a few days?  Do you risk taking a drink and finding out?

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks.

Thanks

If it were me...I'd wait a minimum of two weeks after my last hit.

What nani said...wait two weeks MINIMUM then try a drink.  If you can get down that first drink without one, usually it's gone.  Of course Im just speaking from my own personal experience.  Everyone is different and the beast is one tricky SOB.  Good luck and I hope the beast has forgotten your address.

It seems to be different for everyone. For some it goes as fast as it came others say it kinda gradually goes like a taper. If you really want to know and are willing to have a drink to find out and except that it may give you a Ch well go ahead I guess, myself I wouldn't I am not that brave I would wait a couple of weeks. Just remember some meds shouldn't be mixed with alcohol.

Garrett,

I hear some here say that a beer will give you the answer    Tongue

Beer seems to be the real telltale of a cycle's end.

Good luck
