allergies & triggers....

Throuout my cycle the only trigger was booze and that was in the beginning......No longer.

However, I am very allergic to Cats....Cat dander or hair IF an environment is cluttered with it.....

I can be around cats no problem but if a house or room is just covered it always sparks an allergic reaction....

Eyes...sinuses etc.

Well, I started workin ga new case and the household has a cat .... I didn't realize at first just "felt" something up and the sahdows were coming on strong each session I was there.....Yesterday...bam Eyes closed....then sinuses........itchy closing burning feeling like an allergic reaction with shadows only ..BOOM.....CH!!!

Has this happened to anyone?
My gut is tellin gme to drop the case before I get really involved. It is not unethical because there is pleanty of help and I just started.

Just curious people's experiences if any.

Thanks!

Eric

I never had allergies until about 7 years ago and I hit the 50 age. The only things that bother me now is when the wind blows in crap from California. But it has never triggered a cluster.
I do think there may be something, just don't know what, that connects an allergy to a cluster in some people.

Thanks Bob!
It appears that some have triggers and some don't.....
Some have Cluster attacks brought on by sinus infections or cold....I guess that is my bigger concern....

If I keep having allergic reactions than immune system will begin to weaken and boom.....sinus infection....a big catch 22.....then comes a sure fire increase in hits!!!

No clue either......

Thanks.

I can't get around any perfume/cologne, ammonia, scented candles, fresh paint, fresh flowers, potpourri and eucalyptus without these things triggering a ch.

I feel it in my nose when I first get around these triggers, a burning feeling on left (ch) side only and then about 10 minutes later the ch hits.

I have several cats and they don't bother me, but the ammonia from a nasty litter box can.

If I were you and there were other cases available to you, I'd give it up.

jmo,
Renee

You gotta love this crap, dont you. Keeps us guessing.
For me, EE, alleries are only a problem if my sinus' get and stay inflamed. Then it's a major trigger. If you have a choice...I would let someone else take the case. Daily exposure could cause more problems. Good luck, sweetie....love, nani

Like almost every clusterhead...Booze is a trigger for me....seems like going to sleep is a trigger too....

Recently I've noticed that when I have a shadow starting of a HA, my right sinus/nostril will get stuffy (HAs are on my right side).... I know that's not unusal from my reading here, but here's the weird part....  If I blow/snuffle/whatever to clear that stuffiness....a full-on HA is only minutes away.  Whereas if I just leave it an be stuffed up, the HA takes a while to kick off....and sometimes it doesn't take off at all....
