It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Thanks for the reply, Bro.......it could be worse, we could live in Mexico where the army shoots the people that live there.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Seasons Greetings, and a HUGE helping of thank you to the troops that have, are and will serve. Christmas with your spouse at war (or child, parent, sister or brother for that matter) is not an easy time. I spent Christmas 2001 with Clark in Afghanistan, there was a huge snow storm and I wasn't able to get home to see the rest of my family either. It's a lonely time, so I wish to also thank those that serve behind those that serve. If you know a family that has a loved one deployed over the holidays, take a few minutes to welcome them into your celebrations, even if they don't accept, it truly means the world to them to know that others not only support their loved ones, but support them as well. Great thread! Yes, support our troops and let them know we care. Remember Christmas 1967 like it was yesterday spent at a place called the Que Son Valley. Buddy sent me a flask of Johnny Walker Black and shared it with the guys in my platoon. Pound cake and bourban. Will never forget it. Belong to an association that has been cooresponding with and sending packages to our troops in Afganistan for several years. Nothing like it and they REALLY appreciate it. A hand salute to each and everyone of you. Phil

Good on you Phil, One vet (now gone) in my immediate family (WWII bomber pilot). We don't forget him and I don't forget you, your buddies, and my friends who served with you. No different now. Each and every service man/woman has my eternal gratitude, then and now. Thank you. Merry Christmas! Jon

Thanks Jon. Giving back is a way to honor our fallen brothers and to keep the faith with our own souls. Tomorrow going to a Christmas party at an agency that works with homeless vets. Take care, bro. Phil
