Finally underway. Framing crew began Saturday and will finish today. Metal roof next.
Thank God we have something to work on. Many don't even know where to start or to start at all.
My insurance adjuster will be hearing from me shortly. My house does not fit into his "guessing software".

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I'm very happy to hear you are moving ahead.
The city should be proud of those that are working to rebuild their homes and lives.
I put my experiences in New Orleans up on a blog. After being there I had to do something to work personally through the experience, just so I could sleep again.
If you take a look, I hope aren't offended by any of my commentary.
I actually felt as if I was in Paris in 1945, working with the French underground.
Like I said, those that have stayed and are fighting to rebuild the city are citizens that all Americans should be proud of.
For those that don't know where to start, please tell them to PICK A SPOT, ANY SPOT.
