Hell of a funny guy. We'd listen to his albums in the late seventies and they were great. What a roll that guy was on, LMAO! Thank you Richard

Richard Pryor was born and raised right here in Peoria, Il. where I live. He was brought up in his grandmother's w h o r e house (brothel, I think is the PC term), and he was funnier than hell. When they filmed the movie, Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life is Calling, they filmed part of it here in Peoria. I saw some of the filming. Richard Pryor was a great man, and a very funny comedian. He was just a man, his color never mattered, except to inspire other black (and white) comedians. He was truly a great man, and he will be missed. Rest in Peace edited for the censor

He'll be missed. He was so funny. I never can remember jokes, but one stuck in my head since the first time he told it. He was doing a show at some prision and he asked a guy who was in for murdering a family - "Why did you kill the whole family?" And the guy answered, "Cause they was home!" RIP Richard.... BD
