ok y'all, I am ready for this shit to be over.

I want off the meds, they're making me sick- first the nonsense with the topey and am starting to finally think clearly again.

Now the Vrap and I feel like crap. The room spins and I nearly fall over if I stand up or get up too quickly, just generally feel like crap.

I just want to stop taking the meds and feel normal again and I don't know if this damn cycle will ever end!
Sittin here can feel the shadows poking my temple and cheek and I just want it to end dammit.

I just needed to vent a little. I'm not gonna take any more meds, I can't stand it anymore. The only pills I should be taking should be VITAMINS, not this stuff. grumblegrumblebitchbitchbitch

bitchfest over.

Taper off of Verap so you don't spike your blood pressure.  Last thing you need is another problem when you're trying to get off of the meds!

Jennifer,

Be careful if you're going to stop taking meds. Do it gradually. Verpamil helped me when the dose was big enough (600mg/day), but we're all different. I hope that you'll find that thing which works for you. Smiley

Wishing you PF time asap,
Sanna

Hi Jennifer,
please call your doc and ask how much of the verap to decrease by. Even half may be too much.

When I got off of it it was at a very slow rate.

and a side note: when I first started taking verap it did make me dizzy. That went away in a few weeks and I was okay. I undertand  if you don't want to do that. you have every right to be frustrated.

Be well and PF,
lionsound

Do be very careful and call your doc about tapering off the verap.  Low dose+ tip over/spinning room..reminds me of my situation which was my BP bottoming out.  Not a healthy thing.

Definately reaf up at www.clusterbusters.com to see if this is something for you.

Hang in there--will be ending soon....I know what you mean about verapamil--I made a sudden move on a ladder this past saturday and almost blacked out. Very scary stuff. My head was spinning, and I have learned my lesson. Hope you have comfort real soon.

Sounds like you're getting through the worst of it.

Hope that's sooner not later.  I know exactly how you feel about the polypharmacy, got a bottle collection out of the past few years.

Carbazemine and pizotifen being two all time favourites.  So this year it was straight down to clusterbusters and what a difference it made.

Hey Jennifer,

I'm so sorry to hear your having such a sh*t time of it.  Perhaps you're peaking and very near the end of the cycle??!  I hope so.

Sending you prayers and hugs from down under.

hug
