In the 2 1/2 years I have been dating my boyfriend he has only done the whole "open mouth, insert foot" thing one time. Well, I'm sure he's done it a bunch of times, but one time was HUGE. I'm sure that in his head what he was going to say sounded great and would make me less mad, but OMG, right after he said it he knew that was the ABSOLUTE wrong thing to say.
But yeah, I think it's in your genes!

OHHH..wait'll ya hear what hubby said to me...we were talking about how fast kids grow up & stuff like that (mind you I am ONLY 44) and he says to me "Remember when you were young & beautiful?" OMG I didnt know weather to shyt or wind my watch! He knew he was in the shythouse as soon as he said it..and the more he tried to fix it..the worse it got..so I just politely asked him if he "wanted a glass of water to wash down the size 10 foot sticking out of his mouth"
Believe me.. I have that filed away in my old & ugly mind and will play that card when the time is right!

I am with you on that one. I'd play that card too! That's how us "Chenz" are. If you guys weren't so dumb sometimes, we wouldn't have any cards to play.

I work with a guy named Dick, uh huh, albeit I never get tired of calling him by his first name, nor do I get tired of hearing the female co-workers use his name, when asking a question. However... as amusing as that is? This guy refuses to be called by his "given" name Richard...so allow me to illustrate a typical day, since he is salaried and is pretty much in charge when he works.
1. (asked about 8 bagillion times a day) Where's Dick?
2. ( second only to no. 1) Have you seen Dick?
