Smile be Happy durning the Holidays!

That may sound like a hard thing for some of us. Some of us are in cycle, some of us have lost love ones and it is hard they are no longer here at this time. Some of us don't have all our children with us. Some of us may be alone.
I found myself feeling that blue feeling coming over me. I was mad, and feeling pertty let down. I had plan to have a big get together for my whole family this year. It all feel through. I went into the well I am going to be unhappy and no one is going to stop me. Buddys sister invited us to her house for Thanksgiving and I told Deveny and Buddy to go. I was staying home and that is what I wanted. Just to be alone and be unhappy!
Well last night I woke up and started thinking. Why should I make myself unhappy. I did my best to get everyone together. If they all want to spend the holidays feeling sorry for themselfs then thats their problem. As far as my Dad not being with me. I have felt him with me everyday, I just can't see him. He wouldn't want me to be unhappy. This morning I got up with a new out look. I am cooking and going to the gethering. Its going to be fun. I am going to cook my Brothers and Mom a Banana pudding and drop it off to them.
For people who are alone, Please smile and know that you have people that love you right here. Beleive me you will be in someones thoughts and prayers this Holiday.
I know a lady that fixes dinner on Thankgiving and her and her dogs enjoy it together and she gives Thanks for what little she has. In her eyes she is rich and well blessed just to have a home. If you are alone, get up go to a nursing home and visit someone there who is also alone. You will find your not alone.
No matter where you are who you are with what your doing. I wish each and everyone a very Happy Holiday!

I may be wierd but I have actually had some of my happiest holidays cooking just for US and the pets !! No stress no muss no fuss.......no time frames and no limits. I serve dinner....when it is READY. I clean up and red up in my own time !!! We eat in front of the tv.......and it was nothing to feel sad about. I had food......and my immediate household family that has unconditional love. Tail waggin meowin and chirpin Pam
If this weather keeps up we jus may do that again for Thanksgiveing......really is BAD out here tonight and more expected with high winds Thanksgiveing. So playin it....by ear !!

To all of my American friends - I hope you find something wonderful to be thankful for this year.
Our Thanksgiving was Oct. 10th which was also the day our newest grandbaby was born. You can bet we're a thankful group up here.
