Besides all the regular intangible stuff one always wishes for each Holiday season, I looked over my list on the cupboard and found I had already gotten some of the stuff on there at garage sales. I also noticed that the rest of it could wait, as I don't even think about the things unless I look at the list itself. SO, I guess what I want for Christmas, is for our fireplace fan, fridge and microwave to stop croaking out right now, and magically fix themselves. Oh wait...magic is intangible.. Fudge. Hmmmm... guess I honestly don't care this year. I didn't care last year either. I think it's because during the year, we buy what we want at the time (if it's practical or on sale). I'm very fortunate to do that. I remember when I was a kid growing up with a stepdad that made 70K, but spent it for nose candy so we lived like he made 15K. All I did was daydream about stuff for Christmas and what it'd be like to have the money to buy it. Amazing what the fates have in store for some people... ANYWAY, I think I'd like some peppermint flavored decalf coffee. That'd make me happy. mel

hmmmm.... for me: this cycle to be over by Christmas! its been 12 weeks and I AM READY FOR IT TO END. I have all I want. Oh yeah, I could use a job. Otherwise, I want to be able to stretch a budget reallllllly far so I can do my xmas shopping for the kids and family- don't know what I'm going to do about that without my paycheck coming in. Hubby's goes towards the mortgage, bills, groceries, etc. so gifts are going to be difficult.

| Make the gifts. I'm currently making a blanket to go with the hat I knitted for my nephew. I have a hat and scarf for my daughter, a scarf for my adopted mom, brother in law and niece. If you are good at crafts, cooking, baking, etc., then there are lots of ways to say I love you besides buying stuff. I wish I could help you with the other problem, but alas, my magic wand seems to be busted. Sorry! *hugs*

It's one of those ionic fogger's. A decorative sort of humidifier. Looks prettier than those boxy things that make a ton of noise. This type is so quiet .....

Aside from the usual toys for guys, a little peace of mind for the whole crew. On that, I'm with Bob, some real cash couldn't hurt but I'll settle for some homemade glogg. Try it, you'll like it. Charlie

one of the very coolest freebie gifts I ever got was from my sister and her husband- we all absolutely loved it. they grew popcorn and gave us all homegrown popcorn. it was so delicious! so thoughtful and so wonderful! And one year she gave me home canned tomatoes, cuz she knows how much I love the flavor of them. That was so sweet. I'll have to think of something like that. Thanks for hte reminder
