Psychic experience?

This past Friday my Mother in law was at work at the store where she works (Bakery dept.) Anyway, a lady she has never seen or met came up and ordered something. After she gave her the items, the lady asks "Do you believe in psychics?" And my Mother in law said "No, not really" and the lady said "Dolores (Seeing her name tag) He wants you to stop crying, He said you have been crying for 4 days now and he wants to let you know he's fine and for you to get on with things your life and stop being so sad"

My Mother in law lost her hubby 15 mos. ago and I know that she has been crying for the last 4 days because my wife and I have been dealing with it trying to help her.

She said she got goosebumps when the lady said these things.

To top it off, that same lady went to the checkout to pay for her items but before she did, she stopped in the floral dept. and purchased a yellow rose and had the checkout girl give it to my Mother in law after she left the store.

Guess what, on Thursday the day before this happened my Mother in law placed a yellow rose on her husbands grave when she went to the cemetery!

Sometimes I don't think things like this are just a coincidence. What says you?

Seeya,

There's a girl I work with that does things that freak people out.   Everyone - even skeptics, believe in her.  She's done some stuff that just cant be coincidence.

She can be sitting there talking to you all normal, and then "OH - and your Grandmother says hello."
Then she'll go on to tell this person how their grandmother died, what she was wearing at her funeral, and how many brothers and sisters she had - how many are dead and living... and sometimes, even tell them things - messages - that are far to personal to just guess.

One time, she told my friend Melissa - that her grandmother said that she needed to go to the doctor about her "problem".  She told her that she was pregnant, and NOT to go do what she was planning on doing that night.

Since people listen to her -  She didn't do what she was planning on doing that night, which was go to the bar - and she went to the doctor the next day and was indeed pregnant.  And the "problem" was lower back pain - she had a kidney infection.

But the wierdest part - the friends she was going to the bar with that night - went without her... and there was a shooting at the bar that night. A couple were killed... some from the shooting, and some from the trampling of people running from the gunman.  (I believe it was on the news around chicagoland for  a while).

Freaks me out.

Although I try to keep an open mind...most of what a Psychic does can be attributed to a good surveillance and interrogation person, with a little bit of Magician put in.

Being an interrogator for over 5 years I've discovered a certain line of questioning and lead-on questions as well as paying close attention to facial expressions and especially the eyes can get you quite far into a person's brain. Say I go to the store everyday for the past week and even though I never buy anything at the bakery, I see your mother-in-law and she's obviously been crying...get where I'm going.

But I keep an open mind and if it makes a person feel better...where's the harm...when they start diving into someone's wallet or pocketbook, then there is harm.

I'm a little bit of a skeptic when it comes to that topic, but I believe that some of it is coincidence, magic, and being perceptive.

To each his own.

Ditto Kimmie but then I'm a REAL skeptic.

To me, it's one of those things that we wish were true.

Ah me.
