Thought this might be of interest to many people here ... while aluminum foil weakens certain frequencies of radio waves, it actually increases the power of other frequencies.

I guess these unexpected findings have totally derailed my research agenda for the next months  Maybe it won't take long to develop a metal foil laminate that is much better than plain old Reynolds Wrap.

I still think we should all make our own Ch headbands like Dr. Dildo suggested. We could decorate them to reflect our own personal fashion statement. After all, they are made of metal are they not??

Gator,
Lead is definitely at the top of candidate metals. It is very absorbing and even the government admits it is good for blocking X-rays. Gold is one of the most efficient reflectors - it is pricey, but can be pounded into very thin sheets (gold foil). Alchemically, it is logical that a combination of the most base and the most noble metals might be useful. I would also like to use an element like Neodymium or Tellurium, just because of the sound of those words.
PS: why do you think that you can't buy lead paint anymore??
