I took these pics today, November 9. Would someone please tell my damned roses that it's November? And as always, a sunset~

Very nice pics !!! The roses reminded me of birthday cake roses......good enuff to eat !! I have an onion that is growing like crazy and I think that is odd. It's in the house and jus an ordinery large white onion stored to use for cooking and stuff. Noticed a while back it started GROWING and usually they don't do that until early spring ? I put it in a pot of soil and it is goin nuts.....seems to be off season for them to do that isn't it ? Gettin very tall and very green. Pam that thinks winter is a bit too dreary and long

That first rose is incredible, it looks all sharp in the middle but as the light hits the petals as it widens it makes them look softer and less focused and its a really romantic sort of picture, looks like it should be on a box of posh chocs or a wedding brochure or something

Tahnk-you! The first and third roses are David Austin English Roses and the middle one is a floribunda (can't think of it's name now). Kepp waiting for my poor daffodils to *wake* up and start growing . Cootie, Actually, given the right circumstances, onions can grow any time. I know that we used to grow onions well into the fall (right up until the first big freeze). 'darlin

Nope, cuz they're gorgeous and you should enjoy them...regardless of the month. It's finally turning a little colder here....at least the rainy season arrived on schedule even if the cold driving wind is a little late.

For the last few years, I've had roses in full bloom when it was snowing outside. Go figure - I think they simply refuse to let their beauty go to sleep for so many months. Thanks for the beautiful pics. Kris

| I absolutely adore David Austin roses and have about 20 of them in my garden here where they flourish and those are utterly beautiful photos. Thank you Wendy
