Hello my friends and family
Sorry had some major shake ups. Real life is a bitch. cant say for sure that it was all for good but it got me off my ass and make some changes and not just stay where I was not happy because it was confortable.
Well the Neuro that I found is great. He really is working with me to try and find the root of my headaches. We found out a couple of other things that dont have anything to do with the headaches and they are looking into those now to see what we need to do.
They did say that any patients that they had that have Hoshimoto's Thoyroiditis seem to have severe HA. There is not clinical eveidence as to why but they seem to go hand in hand. So that is something that we are looking inot because I was diagnosed with HT 7 yrs ago.
The blood vessles that lead to my brain are parcially blocked. The TDC that they did showed findings that would be typical for a 70+ yr old not a 34 yr old. So they did an MRA to get a better look. They are sending me to a cardialogist cause the finding show that I might have had a stroke (minor) about 2 yrs ago. (my HA started 2 yrs ago, might be realted might not). They checked me for lupus because that can cause the blood vessles to look like mine at my age, but that came back negative.
The BEAR test that thye did showed delayed reaction on my left side when check ing the brain waves. So they have to look more into that.
So what did all this do... well I stopped smoking again. The last job I had - well I started smoking about 3 weeks after starting and now I have not had a cig in 3 weeks. So after 8 yrs quit I started again for about 9 months and am now quit again. And I quit that job and went back to engineering. Got a raise and am happier.

One thing. I see a neurologist about 9 times a year. At least once he does a blood vessel scan.....ever since he had a very minor stroke like thing (he's about 34) that he won't admit. The first exam, he said I had blockage; the second fine. I don't go nuts over this stuff. I'm a real curmudgeon when it comes to his diagnoses. These guys are test happy because they are terrified of getting sued.
