The thing that really upsets me is his influence over sweet Ernie. He has turned him from a joyous puppet into a troubled one.

You know this really burns my butt. I always thought there was something of the meglomaniac about that character, very anal, but this does it. I'm burning my Bert dolls, books, videos and t-shirts.
