I kicked her out of my office with a comment of Did you think I spent a week in the hospital on IV meds and steroids to be upstarted by a lemon peel you fucking moron. And BTW they are cluster headaches not migraines although I get those too from Hell. When I need a witch doctor I will call you. Please somebody stop me.............

I had no idea you were in the hospital. Glad you’re out of there and hopefully feeling better. Sigh…people just don’t get it…not their fault I guess. Spoke to my best friend’s Mom last week – she’s known me 15 years; she asked me how I’m doing with my tension headaches…I told her “fine”…sometimes I just don’t have the energy. And if I’m not mistaken I think I gave her that Coworker Info sheet from OUCH 2 years ago. You might want to share that with your co-worker. My co-workers have a better understanding after reading that. Hugs, Langa

Yeah Langa I was in the hospital back at the end of August. I had a terrible summer in cycle. I never usually get cycles in the summer. I have had migraines and CH exclusively in my left side for 21 years and all of a sudden I get it in my right eye along with complicated migraines just ping ponging from migraine to CH. It got so bad that I could not walk straight and had a hemiplegic migraine which paralyzed me on the right side for hours. That was one ER visit out of four in two weeks. Finally my neuro checked me in for a week for IV meds and IV steroids round the clock with a taper. Gained some weight from that one lol. I have been back in cycle this month although much milder very congested. My right eye hurts all day for the last 3 days. This right side thing is hard to get used to. It is different pain everything is different this time. I had a CT scan and MRI and they are clear. My eye bulges in the am and recedes in 20 min after I wake up. WTF is that. I read these could be shadows on the other board. My neuro is not worried about it but no real hits just two migraines in the last 3 weeks, mostly shadows. I presently have very mild pain in my right eye and the cheekbone under it but the congestion has cleared up.

I'm so sorry... Some people just don't get it now, do they...? If it helps, I still have to correct my MOTHER that my problem is called CH and not migraine - and she was with me to see a neuro once. PFDANs, Sanna

Jeez….my heart goes out to you Sis… Migraines on top of clusters…as if clusters weren’t bad enough you have to get severe migraines? I honestly cannot even fathom what that must be like. In the 26 years I’ve had clusters, only once did I get hit on my left side. I’ve always been a rightie…It was the WEIRDEST feeling ever and it was I think the worst cluster I’ve ever had. Does 02 help you with the hits? 02 helped me with the relentless shadows too. That sounds really weird about the bulging eye in the morning, but I thought I read something to that effect here once. Hang in there lady…you seem to be a tough cookie and you’ll get through this. (Joy cometh in the morning… ). Hugs, Langa

| Maybe, but you would have to taper off all other meds. Graprefruit seems to interact with everything.
