What are your favorite Halloween movies? Mine are more subtle I am sure, as I do not get into gory films. Some of mine are: "The Craft" "Hocus Pocus" "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" edited for spelling

I'm a "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" girl myself. I don't like things that are horribly gory or extremely scary!!

| Anyway, as far as Hocus Pocus, you just can't top those Sanderson sisters. They knew what girl power really is, and they did it all with humor!

scary godmother 1 and 2 It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and the girls and I have been watching twitches ok 2 cartoons and a movie about teenwitches thats not scary.I am a scaredy cat and admit it.anything remotely scary I have to watch during the day and then follow up with tons of comedies.I was spooked watching the blair witch project and I don't think anyone else was.I watched the scene in a movie where the babysitter keeps getting a call from someone then she gets a call saying to get outa the house the calls were coming from there.you can't imagine how long it took me to babysit without flipping out Minnie

Don't know if it's strictly a Halloween movie, but it's about witches so it counts. The Witches of Eastwick. Three great actresses and one great actor, and the gals give it to him good in the end! Sandy

"It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" Nothing beats it. "Thought "Don Does Dallas" was banned on Boston Charlie (First two Halloweens are good but what's Hocus Pocus?)

It's a very funny movie from the 90's about the three Sanderson sisters who were witches during the Salem witch days. They manage to "spell" themselves into modern times. Outrageously funny Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy

Ohhhhh... so many great ones to choose from "Halloween 1 & 2" were the best of the series. "Dawn of the Dead" - a personal fave "Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn" - Hilarious and gory "House of 1000 Corpses" - Super sick and twisted tale of a halloween night in '77...definitely not for the sqeamish (draws alot of inspiration from the Manson Cult. Killer Karl is just like Manson) "The Excorist" - This movie made me laugh it seemed more corny than scary, and that was at 10 years old. But the rockinest Halloween movie, no matter how cheesy has to be "TRICK OR TREAT" with camoes by Gene Simmons as a disc jockey, and Ozzy Osbourne as a TV preacher condemning rock and roll. Rock Star Sammy Curr returns from the dead after dying during a satanic ritual, and does a last shocking concert on halloween night! The music was all done by the band "FASTWAY" and the soundtrack is still a heavy metal fave of mine. The lead character, Ragman is played by the guy who played Skippy on Family Ties. That alone was scarey! Do I dare post here was some of us kids would say trick or treating when I was a young teen? "Treat or Trick, Suck my D***, there's a line behind me so do it quick!" We were baaaaaaaaad kids! A Nightmare on Mack Street, Carl
