I could say alot. Deleted a lot. Been there done that. Stragetic National Stockpile, P-Mac (the largest ER ever to opeate in the US) Special Needs Shelters.  Here are some pixs. Sorry, it is hard to take good pics outta a moving Humvee. See ya'll later.

I was just thinking of you last night, wondering how you made out. Sorry to hear you're having a tough time, just remember that you didn't create the situation, you're just there to try to help mitigate it. I think the delete me Jim is referring to isn't about his profile...
PTSD is nothing to ignore. You've seen alot and had to deal with alot, get yourself someone to talk to.
Steer clear of permanent solutions to temporary problems. Hang in there and lean on your friends here for support.

Need to hang in there. We've been down here in New Orleans since the day after the hurricane, and we are dealing with the people on a one to one basis.
The grief is enormous, and dealing with families who have lost members is one of the hardest things I have ever done. You see the good come out in people, but sometimes the bad comes out too. My husband has had one of his guys shot, we've had trucks high-jacked while working down in the bad areas. We've also had homeless people who have nothing left bring us food.....which we have to kindly refuse.
Driving in the 9th ward, Chalmette, Arabi, Meraux and the other areas when there is nothing else moving is one of the most eerie experiences I have ever had. There is nothing left, no insects, no birds, no animals.....absolutely nothing moving except us. When you drive through....miles and miles and miles...the devastation becomes numbing. There is not one thing left standing that isn't damaged, including the people.
The good thing to remember is that we are all trying to help them, and this is a damn tough group of people down here.
Just hang on, and keep focusing on the good.

I can only guess what you are going through...with the PTSD... I know that Jolene and the Team from our Church was only there a short time. but I tell you, they are just starting to get back to normal....
I takes alot out of you to see the things that you saw and are going through... Its alot of Destruction....
I am Parying for You everyday, You and all the others are in OUR daily Prayer's & Thought's.. If it was not for people like You and all the others who stepped up to the plate and put their lives on hold to help a Hurting Nation, I don't know what we would do...
Brother, if you ever need to talk, I don't know if I could ever help ya, but don't ever be afraid to call on me.. I would be there for you in a Heart Beat.. I know that you do not know me, and I do not know you, but that makes no difference to me...
